A little slice of heaven nestled amongst the sprawling streets of Los Angeles, Hank’s Cafe is a refuge where customers can always find good conversation, good people, and great coffee. Founded by Hank Paul, a lifelong lover of art, a dedicated family man, and a true connoisseur of coffee, quality is engrained in every detail at Hank’s Cafe.

We don’t just strive to make you the perfect piping-hot cup of joe, the best freshly-baked pastries, or the most exquisite sandwich you’ve ever tasted. We strive to make your day today, tomorrow, and every day.

Our Coffee

Each and every coffee bean that passes through the door at Hank’s Cafe has a story. 

That story begins with rich, organic, 100% pest-free soil. Sourced by our partners at Urth Caffé, the world’s first exclusively heirloom and organic coffee roasters in America, our beans are harvested from under the shade of fruit trees at the highest altitudes in Africa and South America. Our beans come only from heirloom trees that produce some of the smoothest, lowest-acid coffees in the world. As a result, our coffees are naturally gentler and easier to digest without compromising any of the richness of a decadent blend. 

Triple-sorted by hand, only the choicest beans are selected. Each award-winning coffee blend is roasted in Urth Caffé’s state-of-the-art facilities in Hawthorne, Calif. using vintage German roasting machines and the revolutionary green-powered Loring Smart Roaster.
